Au Revoir

This one time, I got kicked out of the Louvre Museum in Paris.

I was young, the security guard wouldn’t give me my backpack, yet gave some other members of my program theirs. Not a proud moment, but if only I was wearing a vintage wool jacket with Au Revoir embroidered on the back, then at least I would have gotten the last word.

And in that moment, that last confrontational bone flew out of my body.  They seem to have been slowly rebuilding in my 40s though. Just took a few decades.

This jacket was originally part of a vintage 1960s twin set, but I think it punches more of a punch separated.
